STRAIGHT POINTS are figured in the Youth and Novice Classes by how many horses you place above. This is the SAME point system as has been used in years past. The Junior and Open classes are broken down by D's and the top winner will receive 30 points, 2nd place receives 29, etc....This point system applies to each of the 4D's in the OPEN CLASS. If running more than one horse in a class, you MUST specify at sign-up WHICH run your point horse is making. NEW for 2007!!!...Anyone wishing to carry over times from the Open class to the Novice may do so but MUST specify this AT SIGN-UP BEFORE ANY OF THE CLASSES START. This is to allow our members who run in both the Open and Novice classes to be able to only run their horse one time. Normal entry fees will apply to all carry-overs.
